Family & Consumer Sciences Education is to empower individuals and families throughout their lifespan to manage the challenges of living and working in a diverse, global society. The unique focus is families, work, and their interrelationships. The curriculum is aligned to the knowledge and skills identified within the National Standards for Family and Consumer Sciences Education. The National Restaurant Association partnered with academic and industry experts to develop Foundations of Restaurant Management & Culinary Arts.
